# 6.2 Transaction Lifecycle

1. **Construct:** Use the API to build a transaction object (Amount, Destination, Asset).
2. **Assess:** The Policy Engine evaluates the request against the Admin Quorum rules.
3. **Sign:** If approved, the API Co-Signer and Keystone Nodes compute the signature via MPC.
4. **Broadcast:** The Keystone Gateway pushes the signed tx to the blockchain mempool.
